Mountain Mint, Slender

Slender Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum tenuifolium) is a perennial forb native to Eastern and Central US states (such as Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, and Texas) that can thrive in USDA Zones 4–8. Reaching a mature height of 2–3 feet with a bushy, fine-textured growth habit, it features narrow, needle-like aromatic green leaves and produces small white flower clusters supported by silvery bracts. It thrives in dry to moist prairies, pastures, and rocky woods and is ideal for native pollinator conservation, drought-tolerant revegetation, and pasture borders.
