Goldenrod, Grass Leafed

Grass-leaved Goldenrod (Euthamia graminifolia) is a perennial forb native to Central and Eastern US states (such as Minnesota, New York, Virginia, and Illinois) that can thrive in USDA Zones 3–9. Reaching a mature height of 2–4 feet with an upright branching rhizomatous growth habit, it features narrow, grass-like green leaves and produces flat-topped clusters of small, bright yellow flowers. It thrives in moist prairies, roadside ditches, and wetland margins and is ideal for wetland buffer enhancement, pollinator habitat creation, and erosion control on damp slopes.
