Cinquefoil, Praire/Tall

Potentilla arguta
Prairie Cinquefoil (Drymocallis arguta) is a perennial forb native to Northern and Central US states (such as Minnesota, North Dakota, Illinois, and Colorado) that can thrive in USDA Zones 3–8. Reaching a mature height of 1–3 feet with an upright rigid growth habit, it features gland-hairy, pinnate green leaves and produces dense clusters of creamy white to pale yellow flowers. It thrives in dry to mesic prairies, rocky slopes, and pastures and is ideal for tallgrass prairie conservation, slope stabilization, and pollinator support.
