All Star Bmr Pearl Millet

All Star BMR Pearl Millet (Pennisetum glaucum) is an annual grass native to southern US states (such as Texas, Georgia, and Kansas) and has also been successfully introduced across North America as a non-invasive crop that can thrive in USDA Zones 3–11 as a warm-season annual. Reaching a mature height of 4–7 feet with an upright tillering growth habit, it features broad, coarse green leaf blades with brown midrib technology and produces dense, cylindrical seed cattails. It thrives in well-drained sandy or loamy soils and is ideal for high-digestibility summer livestock grazing, forage hay, and soil cover.
